I personally think just calm down guys you've both called some quality arguements, but chill its only a game can you please keep the angst level down a touch and discuss this like men not children?

Is this guy serious? If so, im not entirely sure ive ever stumbled upon a more massively retarded person online or IRL.

I clearly state several times that my situation involves being AT the objective, and that theres little cover, and that enemies are spawning around me. If youve never been in this situation, you obviously dont play the objective.

He assumes that every map has some sort of cover around the objectives, which is obviously untrue.

He then goes on to repeatedly beat the dead horse that being against more enemies than you can kill with one magazine whilst going for the unprotected objective somehow means that you have bad ammo management. This makes even less sense, as the two things arent related in the slightest.

Then he suggests i build a base in the enemy spawn to give myself a place to reload. Really?

And he continues to talk shit about my logic.

Obvious retard / troll is obvious. And another post reported.

How do you get in to the enemy base without using cover?

Do you realise you can place blocks and build your own cover?

Do your realise you can use shovel to dig a 1x1x2 hole in 1 second flat to get out of the line of fire?

If you run to the objective without the foresight as to how you will get out of there, then that is your fault!
If you are too lazy to use cover and die, that is your fault!

I've never found myself in the need for a sidearm, save for the few occasions of getting jumped while reloading and advancing at the same time. Anyone with half of a working brain can tell if the problem is with the player or the lack of a sidearm. There's always at least some cover reasonably close.

Cover is useless against a good player that you are not aware of, and you dont need to build a friggin bunker - a two block high wall, spanning 2-5 blocks is all you ever need. Even a 2 block high, 1x1 pillar can do the trick in a right place. Shovel will dig you two blocks deep with a right click - instant cover. Not a smart place to hang around for too long when under fire, though.

Ammo management is a truthful point. With the semi, you can kill 10 players with a full magazine, and I'll be damned if you'll ever meet that many opponents while in the spawn area - unless you're playing pinpoint or goon assault. Reloading only takes a second, and really, if you do get yourself into a situation where you don't have the option to reload safely, at least make yourself hard to hit. In the end, dying because of not having the ammo in your rifle when you need it, is your fault alone. Having a sidearm will just prolong the inevitable for a bit - if you end up going with the sidearm, you already messed it up with your primary, and are likely to mess up with the sidearm as well.

I die quite, quite often because of poor ammo management. It's my fault alone.

Only reason for pistol (or similar weak sidearm) that I can see is if your main weapon is replaced with something unusable for direct combat (like HMG, mortar, grenade launcher, vehicles, deployable tents, ect.).

Many times i have run into the situation my clip is out of ammo and i end up using a grenade to cover my reload, but since the grenade doesn't explode in time, i get shot by someone taking over the bunker.

So... an equivalent to what you guys are asking for is bigger clips and faster reloads?

I will admit some games that have no reloads are fun though. Might be another future psyspades mod down the road.
