By saying weapon sway you mean a small weapon moving, when you aim?
Like in the first CoD?
I think that every CoD has it now...

Maybe the smg.png should be an sightsmg.kv6? Using a model instead of a flat texture would be cool!

I was just thinking about that, then decided against it as I felt punishing the players for being hurt would cause frustration.

The accuracy would only deteriorate for those who are down to red health instead of white health.

Also, just because COD has it doesn't mean its not a good idea.

1) Sure, that sounds cool, maybe it increases to 4 or 5 pixels, cause I think that trying to battle while THAT low is going to be difficult. It pushes players to go back to the base when hurt, which is always a good idea.

I tend to go back when lowered to 61 health or lower

2) He never said it would be a bad idea because it was in CoD, just said it was in it.

1) again, thats too much lol, 3 or 4 is enough, and if you get hurt you should be shaking, looks pretty easy to make that weapon sway, we just need to increace the png ironsights file a little, and then make it move.

2) cod herp derp players, duck you, almost every game have this weapon sway thing, and i like cod and bf3

As you can see, sway is finally going to be added. The only thing left to really talk about his what it exactly does, which we have all done. I think its safe to say this discussion is over?

Did Ben confirm this himself? Like, in the IRC or similar?

He didn't confirm weapon sway, he was just tossing ideas around.

You people ARE helpless. If you guys had any type of literature common sense you could easily tell he was "teasing" us about things he is adding. Everything said in there is something ben WILL be adding, all except the dragons eating campers.

Prove it. Until Ben himself really confirms it, all we can do is speculate.

This was for discussion on what it would do IF and only IF it was implemented.

There is no way to confirm its implementation unless it is confirmed by our local developer himself.

In the meantime, keep pitching ideas.

And Zeke, don't jump to assumptions.

Zeke is jumping to conclusions.

You can't just go around willy-nilly saying things will be put in just because he teases us with it.

We have to wait for him to confirm it, he might not like the ideas that he comes with or the ones in this thread.

Would you look at his twitter?

https://twitter.com/#!/bcoolface

@bcoolface Please Ben, you would you please fix the accuracy, I want it to be like .70 once again. I really miss it and it makes me mad.
@GamingFTW12 I'll be reevaluating all weapons for the next release to adjust for the new accuracy algorithm.. I really need firing range map

That is an example of HIM comfirming both the new accuracy. When Ben "asked" those questions he was asking them rhetorically. You know how people say stuff like "Oh yeah, I'd be terrified if a preschooler came up to me with a plastic spoon, right?", as an example? Ben was asking us a rhetorical question.

Google Dictionary wrote:A rhetorical question is a figure of speech in the form of a question posed for its persuasive effect without the expectation of a reply (e.g.: "Why me?

You're derailing the thread.

As far as the others (people who are not you) are concerned, it needs to be confirmed.
