i certainly agree with mega here and the map size should be optional
i think also a jeep is really the touch that this game needs

You claim it would make death a real punishment, wrong. It'll make game-play punishing:

I am not talking about just MAKE THE MAP BIGGER TEN TIMES, lol. But i will answer correctly:
1. Well, you talking about square shaped map. If you will just make square shaped map bigger like 2 or 3 times you will have this, and will be right. I am talking about at least rectangled map. Making it bigger whould increase the tension really hard. The only bad thing is that its hard to keep success when the map is a straight line. But wait... Makin map bigger also means, that you have more layers, and this game is also about digging, and also landscape that map maker did means alot. so bassically it will INCREASE tension and coordination, not decrease.
2. Thats only true on the squares and bad landscapes again. Explaination is the same.
3. That whould make winning really hard and tensive. You have to not make mistakes to win, and have to suppress constantly. That whould mean alot of teamwork to go in and make better "comeback" mechanism for loosing team.

I think that you haven't quiet get what i did suggested and just read the topic header.

Well, this Ben should make this before even thinking about vehicles. The point is that THIS makes vehicles kind arguable. And it does works only this way. Even with this vehicles is not mandatory for sure, and needed only on the maps that is like... 2 or 3 times bigger, i am not sure.

Bigger maps... Okay...
But i think, that you forgot something. If the maps were bigger,
we would also need an increased view distance.
Which would require more processing power for the pc's running the game.
Which would be bad. Because my DELL toaster would blow up.

I think, that the maps are fine the way they are...
At least for now, while we dont have vehicles implemented.
@everyone - face it, the chances of vehicles appearing in the game are rather large.

Also:
[-] This whould bring AOS close to battlefield series.
This is not bad in my book.

WELL! That is kind of things i have never thought about. But i think that its fine - voxpel is not engine that requires alot of resources. I thin i still whould be able to play it on my kettle ^^.
