what i mean is so if some one had there gun that they created then other people can see there gun when they kill them they can pick up there weapon but at the start when you pick your weapon you'll have the weapons that you created oh hell yeah

i think i understand his language.

1. He wants skins to be forwarded to the server.

2. He wants players to drop weapons when they die.

3. He wants to be able to pick up other people's skins when they die.


That is what i think he means to say.

The only one of those i want is for skins to be forwarded. i would love to see the skins other people are running, it would be cool.

Something to disable 1x1 skins would be for the server to check your skins. sorta like they to now, to ensure your skin isn't too big.
Something to disable skins that aren't team colored would be to have the server check for a lack of color changing blocks.

sorta like TF2 with hats, but not retarded and without a virtual economy created by trading.

The game already does this: you can't join a server if your player skin is missing/has too many voxels.
As far as skin fowarding is concerned, I worry that it might have a negative impact on the game's online performance.
Also, some people probably don't want to see other player's skins. This can be fixed with a client-side option though, so it's not as big of an issue.

I think I have a better idea: make skins server sided.

So, for example, in arena mode, the server would automatically replace all your current mods with the new mods (they are back-upped, though). So the player skins, CP, and guns would be UT style based. I think that would be cool.

the server could probably control which skins are used, whether or not players upload their own skins. or whether there are custom skins at all.
