A new feature for blocks and spades

Alright, so far, there has been a lot of offence resources, like guns etcetera, and blocks to build to fight from.

How about we also have a feature for more defence, such as using a block (while holding it), it is able to deflect bullets? I mean if made accurately enough, you could still kill the person, but the person using it still has a better chance than surviving than running without cover. Also spades to be able to deflect grenades, such as if the grenade is flying at you, whilst in mid air you have to hit it in pickaxe mode (Right click), and if its on the floor, you need to hit it in spade mode (Left click). Note that this won't destroy the grenade, but just make it fly in whatever direction your hitting it to.

I mean no ones forced to use these features, but its just more tactic, and use of resources we currently have.

I don't think those would be very useful or necessary. Just seems a waste of time to code that when it probably won't change gameplay that much.

Deflecting bullets -> NO

Smacking grenades away -> Pretty funny, would definitely be cool to use.

Smacking nades with spade would be a bit of a gimmick.. and holding a block to give you some more protection to the chest, I cannot see as being a bad thing particularly, mainly because they're not offensive.

Smacking a grenade back with the spade would be a cool feature, but since it affect's the gameplay extremely little, it's one of those things that should be added when the core-mechanics of the game are as perfect as they are going to be.
