At the moment game uses respawn waves.
The respawn waves are as long as the server host sets them.
Dead players spawn at the end of the respawn wawe.
So if a player dies 10 seconds before respawn wawe ends, he spawns in 10 seconds.
I
f a player dies let's say half a second before respawn wawe ends then he spawns instantly.
This instant respawning should in my opinion be removed.
Here are a few problems with instant spawning:
1. Can't switch weapons before spawning.
2. Can be extremely frustrating and unfair. (for example you were just headshotted by an enemy and the enemy needs to reload. But you could have spawned instantly, and even right behind him giving him no chance to fight back)
3. Bigger chance to be killed by 1 airstrike twice.
4. Can be disorienting; "How did I just teleport to our spawn?!"
By making the minimum amount of time needed to respawn 3 seconds I think this problem would be fixed.
