Map/chat interface

I propose a new interface that will temporarily disable looking around when you pull up the map. That way you can ping locations easier on the map using your mouse while also being able to scroll through chat. I find it frustrating when a teammate types something when I'm dealing with a threat then after dealing with the threat to see the message had disappeared. The map pinging may be exploitable by griefers, though. Thoughts?
