On April 4th, we celebrated Ace of Spades' first birthday! AoS got some new trailers for its birthday, check them out here.




The global blacklist recently implemented an appeal system. If you have been banned and would like to appeal it, visit http://blacklist.spadille.net to view the latest bans and submit an appeal if necessary.


A chopper kv6 model was uploaded on the Ace of Spades site near the end of March. The modder SIMOX has decided to make a mod for the chopper, as a control point. Click the image below to download it!

Bots in Ace of Spades?! Hompy the wizard is working on computer-controlled players that will have pathfinding AI. Be sure to check out this vid!

Speaking of hompy, he and TheGrandmaster created a brand-new Ace of Spades game mode, based on another game, Soldat. Basically, the blue team gain points for defending the intel while the green team try and retrieve the enemy intel. Read more about Infiltration here. There is quite a conversation stirring up!

Sham and izzy are hosting this game mode, look up "aloha.pk infiltration" or "Rescue Shams Pony" on the play page.

To promote this gamemode, there is a <@> vs. Forums match during Sunday May 6th 7pm GMT.

What's going on development side?
- 64 player servers in the not too distant future

Finished work on the last Ace of Spades you'll ever need to download \o/ (it's an autoupdater/launcher if you want to be boring about it)

The man himself has spoken of auto-updating, a server browser, and user registration. it's scheduled for release in a couple weeks and more announcements will come out soon.

Thankyou for writing this in a post. I cannot stand having posters that and other ridiculous things that only make something "pretty". I have been trying to keep up-to-date with this game and stuff like this is really great, just in case I miss out on something.

Glad you enjoy this! I was originally going to make a poster but abandoned the idea because:
1) they take a long time to make
2) large hi-res images can take some time to download
3) too snazzy

I will try to promote AoS media (pics/vids) as well in the next issue.
