Getting lots of lag

I don't know why, but I am all of a sudden getting lots of lag. The screen just freezes for a second and then goes to 60 FPS. I don't get it.

Its only started happening since the 0.75 update. And only happens some of the time, most of the time I am fine.

Are you getting disconnected too?
If so, Try to use system restore it worked for me.

If you stay logged into the forums while playing, you get egregrious amounts of lag. Logging out is the simple solution.

Being logged in on the forum while playing should have absolutely no effect on your game connection. It's about the same as saying that being logged in on twitter makes facebook lag. Perhaps it would be an issue if your computer can't handle having a browser and AoS open at the same time, but I doubt that that's the case.

Nope. Not true. I have zero idea why but if my computer can have aos and Pandora run smoothly, then it shouldn't go berserk when I simply stay logged into the forums (even if its not open). Other members have had this issue as well. It makes no sense, but ive tested and experimented and that is the case.
