1. Yes, if you installed Spadille. It has the ability to change the resolution. Just get in the Options part(or let's let StackOverflow answer this)
2. Uh... Not really in 0.75. In 0.6, yes it can rape anyone within 50 blocks or more. In 0.75, you need to be VERY lucky to hit someone in 10 blocks and kill someone. Y'know, damn pellet spread!

But i don't think 1920x1080 works, 1920x1080 is my native resolution and i still play on 800x600.

You don't need Spadille to change the resolution...
Just go to C:\Ace of Spades\config.ini and change it there.

As the first question is already answered, I shall adress the second one (or, add on to it, I guess).

The answer is both yes, and no. Shotguns were designed (or, at least, video game wise) to use at close range. The AoS shotgun is a close range weapon, but at medium and long ranges, it gets iffie. Sometimes you kill someone in one hit, sometime in ten, it's really unpredictable.
