It seems pretty nice, but the music sounds a bit too upbeat for a war game. It would also be nice if the blocks stayed around for a few more seconds before vanishing after falling.

I loved the music, compliments the "retro" theme Ben seems to be going for now. Wish the falling objects would last longer though. Like at least enough to bounce once.

Music is better than in video 4 at least. Video 4 was retro - in a bad way...

2 things

Bring the old "block-falling" animation and particles back
Allow modding of the title screen music, background and fonts

I'm okay considering the title music, except it sounds really happy-japanese cat game-ish, like it's all about building.
I hope that the background theme is a placeholder, its confusing and looks like %$^%.
It seems we finally get an integrated browser, although an options menu wouldn't hurt. I dislike the falling (no-support) animations, now it simply dissappears mid-air, while in the VOXLAP it actually falls down and particles everywhere.

BUT, we need a DAMN NEW LIGHTING ENGINE!
The current one is more aesthetic than..."Useful" (since there aren't any monsters to spawn in the dark)

Like DarkDXZ mentioned, it's all very WIP and will probably change radically in the future.

In regards to the music, it's something I made in max 15 minutes as a temporary placeholder. If you have a thing for 8bit, you might like it anyway though.

I don't know how much you're willing to disclose, but does this use the same filetypes and netcode as the original? That'd be my guess, seeing as I see the same .kv6s, same animations, and same maps. It'd be pretty cool to design a client that uses a completely new engine but uses the exact same files and netcode as the original, allowing the new and old engine to connect to the same games.

Hmm... that shotgun piercing through multiple blocks might actually make it useful.
As others - I don't like falling animation. I'd go for conservation of mass system, but I'll re-create topic about this in suggestion thread.
