@ Danqazmlp => I personly prefer a longer-ranged version of this tactic, keeping the intel in a clear area in my line of sight.
@ Articsledder => Exactly, I always say that a spotted sniper is a dead sniper. And flanking enemies while most of your team attacks : an hammer to distract enemy, and a knife in the back to kill him.
@ HoboHob => the most important against a sniper is to SPOT him. Look from where his shots come, not always easy when you are the target, but useful if the sniper shoots one of your teammates. Once you have spotted his location, try to sneak to him. Usually, snipers don't expect anyone to find them at close range, they're more focused on killing enemy snipers. Also, once he is spotted, using the SMG to perform suppressing fire (fire toward him, to dissuade him from shooting) is a great tactic to stop him for some time
That's also why I always make bunker-lines with many 2-blocks-deep windows : the deep windows make me harder to spot as my body stays in shadow, and I very often change window to avoid being spotted. And even if I'm spotted, I just have to spot the counter-sniper, change window and kill him. I know where he is, he doesn't know from which window I'll shoot.
