The AER9 was actually not the top laser rifle in service at the time of the Great War. The reason that the AER9 is much more commonly found is that it was much sturdier and more reliable later models
The AER9 features a titanium housed crystal array which proved to withstand long years of exposure to the elements much better than the gold alloy housing of the later models. As a result, the crystal arrays stayed focused within operating parameters. Power is drawn from microfusion cells and processed through a wave/particle diverter . The diverters are protected by a carbon-fiber housing, but when a diverter fails the weapon becomes unusable.
The AER9 can suffer from poor performance if not properly maintained. The crystal arrays and non-mechanical components are delicate and if not properly serviced can lead to a loss of beam intensity, overheating, and energy regulation failure.

This is just a basic model. Any feedback on this one? I still need to add some detail and fix some colors, and put it into the right position, but other than that it is pretty much done.

Okay, Okay. Credit Wiki, and maybe its better to post a more '' summarized '' description rather then a WIKI copy n' paste, given some people won't know where the AER9 Came from, haha.
Anyhoo, on the model...The model looks pretty close to the original form, but you gotta work on those colours. Big turn off, and they aren't true to the model.

Yeah, the colors are what is getting me on my nerves. I cant really get the right color of the small tube on top of the gun, the stripes on the darker middle part and the stock.

Well, thanks! I think I'm going to post the version 3 posts back, while I work on the new one.


BTW, about the poll, it looks like we may have a draw. The PKP has kept on the leadership most of the time, but now the M416 is getting really close :)
Anyway, if we do have a draw, I will make the PKP first(because it was the leader for the most time), so, any suggestions on specific attachments? I'm thinking about:
->With/without Bipod
->PSO-1 scope
->Kobra red dot sight scope
->Skeleton and Full stock variants
->Maybe flashlight and supressor variants?

I still am not sure which attachments I'm going to make for it, Bipod, Kobra and maybe PSO-1 are almost guaranted,but I'm not sure about supressed and different stocks. Any other variant suggestions?

I guess, but that's more of a mounted kind. Bullet shields attach to a gun with a slot to look through.
For CoD Kids, its kinda like a '' heart beat sensor '' type of design, but more towards the front of a weapon.
These are a must have for LMG, cuz' in combat they are a prime target like Flamethrowers. With all the suppression they offer, they need some sort of add-on protection.

The Bullet shield looks nice.
And for the colour scheme, I'd recommend making the bullets more yellow, but the box colour is fine.

Also,what do you think about the model, in general? I'm struggling with the Stock to get it's shape and size right and in proportion with the rest of the gun =P
