If I were to tell you why it had a gun from the Starcraft storyline, you would get really confused. These are infested terrans (humans). Most of them are suicide bombers with guns (which means they don't know how to use guns). Others actually have some brains, allowing them to use melee claws and guns.
And there isn't a cure for that.

Ah, I see. Anyway, destroy the lethal injection. Something someone could say to beat the exploding suicide thing is that it technically kills itself.
