List some or one of your favourite books. The people that dont like books should keep their nose out of this thread.
I aint a book lover but im intrested in reading some books.

Star Wars The Old Republic Revan ( Im not a nerd coz i read a frickin Star Wars book. I just wanted to lear some stuff bout Revan and to learn a bit of Star Wars timeline after the death of Darth Malak.)

Some books that you have to read for school. (i dont know how its called in English but on my language it is called "lektira"
lektira is a thing that is given as a homework and after a certain period(which is most of the times a month) i have to write a review bout that book, name main chars give a book report or how you say it in English.)

I like LoTR, I liked The Silmarillion a but too. I think I'm going to buy The Hobbit.
I like The Third CHimpanzee, from Jared Diamond. Thinking about buying Colapse and Guns, Germs and Steel (dk if it is that title in English).
The Greatest Show on Earth, from Richard Dawkins, also looking forward to buy some other Biology books from him.

Oh, and I heard good about The Spoon That Disappears.

Sadly reading is rarely done in my country (no it's not russia). People here are just so lazy.
In any case I've read all the LotRs, pretty good books.
All the Harry Potters even though I didn't like them that much. Overrated.
My favourite book genre is detective books and I've read a lot of Sherlock Holmes' stories and many Agatha Christie's novels. Really good ones, those.
Also a bunch of books in Russian that none of you ever heard of :P

The Satanic Bible: Anton Szandor LaVey (Look it up, its a heavy read but it makes alot of sence)
His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman (This series first introduced me to Philosiphy, Metaphysics and the idea that Christianity is wrong)
The Anarchists Cookbook by JollyRodger (Funsicles. If you dont know what it is, wikipedia it)
H.P Lovecraft Stories

Those have probably been the most influential on me but my other favorites include:
Lord of the Rings
Anything by Spike Millican

Urgh, cant really think of any more at the moment, will probably post some more soon

All my Science and History books.

ALL OF THEM.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

There's this one book I read about a family escaping East Germany when the Berlin Wall was being built that I really liked, but I forgot the name of the book. As for books I've read for school

- The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (Book about the son of the kommandant of Auschwitz befriending a Jewish kid. Good book.)

That's pretty much the only book from school I liked. I don't really read that much. I'd like to read Atlas Shrugged though.
