AoS takes place in Korea?

Ben, has always said AoS takes place in Vietnam, but a lot of the community thinks WW1/2. Why not Korea? It balances the 2 era's, and seriosuly, compare this to a Gen map!

If my mind remembers correctly, this game was meant to have the WW2 setting. I don't remember hearing about Vietnam.

I believe ben said in an interview the game was set in Vietnam.

IIRC he said he didnt want it to be officially set during any war, as to not limit what he can add to the game.

I think it shouldn't take place in any war or country. It should take place in the mystical from of voxlap.

Takes place in an alternate blocky dimension, a dimension which is rule by the bcoolfacemaster.
The bcoolfacemaster can do anything he wants in his own dimesion.

OK so... I used to think of AoS as being set in WW1. Trench warfare, FTW?? But now I feel like it's being fought by two teams of time travelers... you know they wind up in Renaissance towns, futuristic loading docks, modern cities, bizzare rectangular islands in the middle of the ocean. Whenever one team pops up someplace new the other team has somehow managed to find them, and the battle commences.
