I did some aimbot testing today in Ace of Spades and I noticed some odd things:

1.) It is undetectable. The whole time I as testing I wasn't detected at all
2.) I sometimes missed, the aimbot does miss sometimes. Even with the Aimbot its impossible to get 100% accuracy
3.) I wasn't suspected. People didn't even notice I was aimbotting. There could be hundreds of aimbotters out there and we just might not suspect them
4.) The aimbot also has X-Ray plugged in to it. So not only does it aim for you, it can show you an enemy's position
5.) The shotgun and SMG won't reload, so aimbotting with them is impossible as after you fire the first clip, you can't reload again.
6.) Its pretty hard to set up, as once join a game, you have to minimize it (which requires keyboard shortcuts as your mouse is stuck) and then inject the hack.
7.) There is no rapid hack or multiple bullets hack plugged into the aimbot, so those are caused by extreme lag.

So applying this to a game, some telltale signs of an aimbot are:
1.) Has pretty much dead on accuracy with the Rifle
2.) Knows where you are even when you are hiding

And since the 'E' key on the keyboard is used to lock on to a player it an experienced aimbotter could easily hide the fact he is aimbotting and just look exactly like a pro player.

I have personally witnessed an SMG aimbotter on the aloha zombie server (got nothing but headshots from very far away, noticeable because my health went down extremely fast, faster than normal). Not all aimbots are created equal.

As far as I know there is only one Aimbot available for 0.75 and it makes SMG un-reloadable. But he could have been using his first clip, then dying, then killing with his first clip again.

I'm almost certain there's a new aimbot that contains a damage hack now. This one guy was cross-mapping me with the shotgun, and when I called him out, he left.

I've seen someone one-hit me with an SMG, too.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

Oh boy, this thread again.

First off, no shit it's undetectable. Past human detection, that is. And if you're using the aimbot right, you won't miss. Maybe you miss due to lag or something.

It's easy to tell if someone's aimbotting, if you're looking directly at them and they seem to be following obscured people with their guns, and twitching to get headshots.

This is more of a small issue, the term is "ESP", not "X-ray".

I don't see how Windows+D and clicking "Inject" is a complicated process, but okay.

Damage hack, multiple bullets, whatever, are all in the aimbot, but toggleable.

I played with the aimbot for like half an hour and no one even accused me.

If you are smart about it you look just like a PRO player.

Well, that's another point. People are morons. Once on Minit, this guy had like 400 kills before anyone cried "AIMBOT".

I hate to sound like the devil's advocate but.... if an aimbot is undetectable, is it really a problem? An aimbot on the enemy team that *can't be detected* is indistinguishable from a really good player. Since it's more fun to play against good players than n00bs, and since they can't get too aggressive (i.e. kill too fast) without getting noticed, maybe it's not completely a bad thing?

Thoughts?

Thats akin to suggesting that we just allow people to rob banks because theyll spend the money.

Quite frankly, I want the person besting me to actually be better than me.

If you want to know a aimbotter, simple ?
Dig yourself down to the base in TC mode, look above, and wait. until someone kill you, 90% are aimbotter.
