Why has this thread stayed 5 pag...... MOTHER OF GOD 14 PAGES

Ignoring the hate war over weapon balance, I think the official switch over to OpenGL should be a priority. After that opens up more coding options, Mortars and possibly Heli's would be nice.

all the guns have there own good zone, sniper is good at headshotting people while running and standing, the smg is good at a 1337 gun because all it take is about 2-3 bullets for a head-shot, and the shotgun is good at being lonely and sometimes getting used to be shamed and being replaced for the asscannon for humour.

A HMG would be nice at some point, however kill streak rewards are something I feel the game should stay away from. Having 2-3 for each team spawn at the start with people able to move them would be a possible way to do it.

Yes, OpenGL seems like it's gonna be exciting. For me, if graphics aren't good for a game, I really couldn't care less (I mean I play Ace of Spades don't I?), but I'm all for graphic improvements. As long as it doesn't affect performance too much.

I think helicopters will be a good addition, its not particularly cliche for FPS games and with AoS physics and mechanics it could be turned into something quite unique and fun to use. Server-side option though perhaps?

No killstreak please.

HMG, I don't know. I guess it wouldn't be a bad addition, but it all depends on how it's added and how it works.

Something I'd love to see is more information on the server select screen. Now and again it happens that I see a server I'm interested in - a good map, good number of players, low ping -, but then I log on and find that it has some non-standard feature that's really a deal-breaker, like the "only spades and grenades do damage" mod or an automatic map reset every 20-30 minutes. It would be great if I could see these factors in advance so I'd know not to pick that server.

The shotgun needs fixin'

Check out this pattern at 40 Yards (60 blocks in AoS land):

Here are some patterns from my back-up gun. A Remington 870 with 3" chamber (I lengthened the forcing cone).

These are 40 yd patterns, the circles are 30" diameter for reference:

This real shotgun fired its pellets in a cone that was like 0.60 degrees wide... at that rate of spread it would hit fog distance with a cloud of pellets less than two blocks wide. From testing it just now, the AoS shotgun fires in a cone about 8 degrees wide, without using ironsights.

Compare the two for yourself:

From this, I feel that the shotgun should shoot a narrow cone of pellets, and the damage per pellet should just drop with distance.

Now that's an idea. It also makes for a distinctly close-range weapon, which I like.

-Rifle to be a only stand and duck weapon for 100% acc
-Rifle at movement got 50% , 60% acc
-Smg boost at movement and stand accuracy
-Smg Crouch Accuracy Decrease
-Shotgun from 0.70
-Net code fix

Additions
-Deploy-able Machine Gun (HMG)
-Mortar
-Medi-kit
-Ammo-kit
-Portable one-shot Bazooka ( 1 rocket with power of 1 grenade )
