British armies SA80 (without foregrip) assualt rifle/smg

Postby Symbia » Mon Apr 16, 2012 5:49 pm

This is just a random mod i decided to make one day, its fairly well made but dont think its bad because it looks different, although this is the only gun i have know to have the mag in the rear.

Try adding more details, such as handguard cravings and metal lines in the body, it looks bland the way it is

yea well i have fired 1 of those and been training to use it, im not in the army i was in the cadets trust me, prehaps i could make the bolt more visable but really, that and insert a foregrip is all i could do, i could also try to make it into a LSW if that would help add detail

Anything that helps it lose its bland appearance is good
Take a picture of the gun and see if it has any lines or bolts or any detail anywhere and try reproducing that in Slab6, pick a darker or lighter shade than the rest of the body and see if you can add anything

I'm not talking about adding new blocks, i'm talking about using coloring to add detail

Go to tools > replace palette and convert colors
Choose the tracer model, it has a color palette with more colors and tones
