Who was the idiot that came up with this broken and glitched up idea?

Not only are you spawning into blocks ALL THE DAMN TIME, but then you have some douchebags who literally find someplace to hide near you base and camp while spawning in half their team for spawn-killing!!!

To top it all off most servers seem to be using this horrible idea and it makes it impossible to find a decent game to play.

I cant be the only person who feels this way (pre .30 players, especially wanna here from you guys)

Squads would be great for organization, if only there was no teammate respawn....

I think a better idea is that squadmates would appear in blue/green on the map (Yes, I know, CoD-like), because then it'd be easier to find them. I mean really, what fun is it spawning in the enemy base?

There's an easy solution for this...Get rid of squads on small maps like Gh 1 and 2, but keep them for 3. To prevent spawning inside of blocks, ben should make everyone spawn crouched. If you're just spawning in the open, you straighten up. If you spawn in a 2 block high tunnel, then you stay crouched. @Booyo I never understood the point of squads in GH, cuz it's way to easy to spawntrap since you can walk across the map in less than a minute.

I hate when i advertize my squad and noone joins it most cant read english. But squads help when getting intel.

Agree - current squads are awful.
I'd had nothing against some more elaborate way to do them, like paradropping instead of spawning on the ground - enough disadvantages if you decide to spawn in enemy base (you're pretty little coverless target). Would be even better with need to thrown signal smoke granade to create temporary spawn point for paratroops (nade would appear on map during spawning). hmm... it probably should go to the suggestion board...

I'm not squad-savvy, but I can objectively say that there are contraindications which have emerged from most players. Perhaps some squad constraints might eliminate this problem, without having to minus the function at all. That is to say, a time limit, number of total kills per squad, would surmount to the squad's defeat.

Alright. I say we start a petition to have this feature removed from pyspades. I was just playing on jestservers-chicago and the map was bridgewars... The greens were spawning in DROVES on our side and there was nothing we could do to defend our intel since we were all being killed the split second we spawned into the map. Not only is the person who came up with this idea a COMPLETE AND UTTER MORON WHO DOESN'T HAVE ANY CLUE HOW GAMEPLAY MECHANICS WORK, but anybody who abuses this this feature is also a disgraceful player who should be banned for at least a week for each offense.


Also, make it so you cant bury intel like it use to be, I'm tired of some jackass green burying their intel 35 blocks down with NO way for you to get at it. Sure, you could do the same with your intel BUT THEN IT TURNS INTO A STALEMATE! Why play CTF when it always turns out to be a deathmatch where both sides are constantly being spawnkilled?

This is the real reason the game is dying.

I think this is something you should ask individual servers rather than trying to have the script deleted or something.

Implying the script is a good idea and people should have the option to play with this horribly broken game mechanic.
