What about some Skin Competitions?

So, this idea started to wind up in my mind some days ago: What about some Skin Competitions?
Like, each month/week there is a new competition with a different theme. E.G: in week one the theme is Shotguns, so people send in to a topic shotgun skins either just out of the oven or already made, and either:
1)There is a judge of some trusted and well-known modders that are going to give notes to the submited skins.
2)There is a pool to decide which one was the best skins.
About the prize, I'm not sure... I remember a time in an old Spore Forum that there were monthly contests to see which creation was the best and the 3 top places received one image-trophy with their creation and something like "First Place/Gold Medal" to put in their signature.
We could just as well have some equivalent for maps.
Remember that this is, however, only a suggestion for the moderators or any willing user out there.
Anyone with ideas on how to get this better is welcome here.

We actually had one of those once. The winner got to playtest the 0.60 prerelease. It worked out pretty well actually, I think we should do this again.

Well, I was thinking it could be either some poll where the users vote what gun is the better, or some judge with some trusty, well-known modders (e.g SIMOX). I think 3 of them would be enough, and they would give notes on the guns based on things like the main body, details, shading, etc.
I was also thinking that it should be themed, like, one week it is a Shotgun-themed contest, where people submit shotgun skins, other week is Rifle (or SMG, or Assault Rifles, or Sniper rifles, or Sci-fi weapons, etc) week, etc. Maybe .kv6 contests should be in separate weeks from .png, because not everyone that create skins can make sights, and not everyone who makes sights can create skins.

Also, something that would be interesting IMO: If those competitions get official, maybe before some update that adds a new weapon (e.g Pistol, HMG) Ben itself holds a contest to decide the official, default skin?

EDIT: Also, what about teams? Like, user x makes a team with user y, and x will create the SLAB6 model while y will take care of the Ironsights.

Ok, but there should be this rule: You have to make a completely new model for the contest, and cannot use the mods you have already built.

There is none. The only other option is "Upload Attachments", there is no option for poll.
