I present to you... The most accurate scope you can get!

Postby Steevo » Mon Jan 23, 2012 9:34 pm

Hello ladies and gentlemen!
Some of you may know that the scope png. is 800x600 and therefore there is no exact middle pixel. This creates some trouble when you want an accurate scope as you know..
I cam up with this prefect solution! This is very poorly drawn, the only thing that matters is the middle aimingstick thing itself: Image

Just aim with the top of that stick and you'll do fine! It works like a charm! :D

Here is a download link just in case: http://www.mediafire.com/?fac54j55cze3oab

That's the weirdest scope I have ever seen. Yet there is perfect point in 800x600.
300x400 px
300x401 px
301x400 px
301x401 px

These 4 pixels will give you the exact aiming point. Of course some ppl think that even 4 pixels are too big but you can always make them transparent if you wish to shoot ppl around the fog line.

Mikuli used to have a similar scope (albeit without the big black parts and the long line, his was just a tiny small bit).

Isn't 400,300 the point where bullets go to? I tested it and it seems right, and the wiki agrees.

There is no center pixel on a resolution made of even numbers, so the technical center would be the centerline of the middle four pixels.

You don't need it. Just right click on the picture and then "Save as"

im just going to point out that some scopes counter the fact that the gun shoots to the side... not most acurate.

just wondering, why do you have an RS signature?
are you one of us? I have never seen you before, and you're not on the members list, at least not under that name.
and just wondering, where do you aim with the stick?
