Too many aimbots.

I went into a server just a few minutes ago, and 7 of the 12 people on the enemy team were spawntrapping us with aimbots. the guys on the enemy team had 240+ kills, EACH. Every time we'd vote kick, no one would vote. and they'd vote kick in retaliation. Can anything be done about the Aimbots?

Ey, I remember playing you the other day.

I agree. I'm not really sure myself how aimbots work, but I generally deal with people who have aimbot on by taunting them into turning it off to prove they're not just terrible at the game, and then while they're typing something I'll headshot them in return.
I've gotten quite a few aimbotters to stop using it for the game just by yelling at them or proving that it can be beaten. It can take a while sometimes, but it can work.

The thing is unless the someone on the other team shot a bullet in the opposite direction of where he was facing, there probably was no aimbot. If it was like this (again, probably wasn't, you'll know a hack when you see one) then you just need to contact the admin of the server. If you have no idea who the admin is...try another server, there's only a hand-full of aimbots, all privately owned. The odds of running into another one are slim.

i wish all these pepole who complain about hacks could be herewhen the game was new, back in .26, when hackers were evrywhere and it was common that 3 out of the 18 pepole playing were hackers. it did add a challenge because they would turn the tide of battle. such as green had a strong base and a hacker came and destroyed it, now blue has a opening for attack. ehh, hackers have their pros and cons

How am I trolling? I'm saying that I don't see any pros to a hacker coming in and ruining the game for everyone.

so when the enemy lines were impossible to break, and everyone was dieing. a hacker came along and blow a huge hole in that line, just the rush of "A HACKER, defend the gaps in our lines" added a whole sense of feeling. im not saying aimbot, but those ones that just did the infenite nade strike and then left.I remember at first i was pissed at them for breaking my fort, but i later thought of how much funner it was because of him. basically this was in .26 with only 1 map and ironsights that could not be used, so it allowed you to actually have MASSIVE battles.

So I spent a ton of time making an awesome fort, then some hacker comes along and blows it to bits. How is that fair to me? That's way worse than griefing. At least griefing is manageable via teamkilling. This is just completely unfair.

ya, i agree with booyo. If no one can get past the wall you built, you should be rewarded for it. You should not have it taken down in a matter of seconds by a hacker. If a team is dying a lot, that is either them being bad, or the other team being good. Isn't that how games are meant to be played anyway. Whatever team had more people who did better that match, they should win. Not some hacker blowing up a wall, the enemy team marching in, and you loose, even though your team built, killed, and defended better.

So I was on a server earlier.
One guy turned on Aimbot. Then four others across both teams turned on aimbot. Turns out one of them also had map hacks and "nuke" grenades.

Needless to say, I will no longer play on that server.

Yea, like a 8/10 chance you will find someone who uses an aimbot in a server, seriously where the fu-uck are all these people getting aimbots all of a sudden. it's pretty easy to tell, if he has an aimbot or not.

I would assume map hacks are either radar or those wierd hacks where you could write all over the map and the blocks would actually show up.
