Color picker for blocks

You used to be able to change the color of your blocks to any that you right clicked on, but right clicking is used for speed building now and color picking doesn't seem to work any more. Has the button for color picking changed or am I doing something wrong?

Sadly, there isn't a hex scan for the RMB. You'll just have to get used to it.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

Now that right-mouse-click is the drag build, they remapped the color pick thing to E.

Why doesn't Ben just make the click and drag function and the "place a block" function all on the left button and make the color picker the right mouse button again?
