What is the scariest thing that ever happened in your life?

I once had a paranormal activity at my home. all candle lights just stoppred burning in a instance. 5 seconds later the TV turned itself off. That happend when a friend was visiting me. We where young like 11 or so. Pretty scary shit.

two things actually:
first one was getting hit by a truck on the first day of school, and then seeing a my dislocated shoulder *shivers*

second one was last year, took a small sailing dingy (a laser Pico to all of you who know) out on a sailing lake, its a bit windy, about force 4/5.
I got my hand caught in the kicking strap, my left hand holding the main-brace and tiller and I caught my bouyuncy aid on the boom... and the boat jibed (went around the wrong way) and finally capsized and inverted. I pulled out my clasp-knife and cut through the kicker and managed to re-right the boat and then got told by the safety boat crew I spent a whole minute underwater *gulp*

Probably when I was either 10 or 11, I don't remember which.
I snuck into a teacher's office during the lunch break and took $10 and her phone, walked back out of the office and saw four teachers huddled around a computer screen, thankfully facing away from me. Then I realised that taking the phone was retarded so I went and put it back… the teachers were gone when I came out of the office. I was paranoid for the next 10 or so minutes. Then I went and enjoyed some food from the canteen with my absolutely massive fortune of ten motherfucking dollars; I even shouted for a friend (not that he deserved it, he was supposed to be the lookout D:<).

Tornado shaking the whole damn house

I've been through a few tornados. The last one was half a mile wide at least. It lifted over my neighborhood fortunately, but totaled a nearby shopping center. The worst part was that we couldn't see it over a nearby hill. We could just hear it. It sounded like a train or far off jet. We walked outside afterwards and it was raining roof shingles.
