Newest blog post says B is working on quote: "spectator mode, artillery spotting, click+drag building, killstreaks, and more."

So what do you guys think??

Artillery and Click+Drag building sounds intriguing, as does the new client mods that are being worked on... I'll be waiting.

I'm curious as to what "click and drag building" could mean.
It sounds more like an editor feature rather than anything that would actually be ingame.

I'm not pleased to see killsteaks though. Blah.

I was JUST about to post about this.
Spectator mode, I can't wait. I hate it when I have to keep pressing ctrl to actually spectate. I don't know what the artillery thing is, click and drag building sounds nice, but killstreaks... Why add killstreaks? D:
Why can't it be something that occurs when someone captures the intel, so that people actually aim for it?

Otherwise, the whole update sounds good. About time, Ben. :)

I'm happy with this. I really am happy about Artillery spotting and a new client, confused on click and drag building, not so happy about kill-streaks, but at least ben is trying to please everyone.

I'm guessing it means that you can get a view of the map and plop down forts and stuff.

Anyone know what artillery spotting could be? Besides that, as long as killstreaks are balanced, this is all great news.

No for artillery.
Don't know about building, but if it means like automatic building placement then no.
Yes for killstreaks, with no benefits (except for 31 killstreak, LOL I'm so PRO).
And hell yeh for more ( ;) )

I'm curious as to how artillery will work. This could end well, or in a fiery explosion of pain and suffering if implemented poorly.

Artillery will be a absolute failure, it will be so overused it would be hell to put it in. But hey, i could be wrong.

Meh, If there is a set limit to the number of Guns/Mortars spawning I doubt It would be such a problem. Of course the day of the update everyone (including myself) is going to want to try it. From what ben said it still requires spotters though.
