I have this bug often since the 0.75 update, but i don't know the circumstances.
Can someone fix this?

If so, then I'm having the same issue ( and so are other's according to what I read). There's seem to be little discusion about it though. I really hope this gets addressed/fixed soon.

Sometimes this happens if you're on the less-professional servers or you are using too many programs at once. It also might occur on a very high ping server or when your head is stuck b/w two blocks.
My recommendation is to first store all your mods into a USB or CD, then delete all AOS related material from your computer, which includes AOS program files, local disk etc... And then reinstall. Just deleting the AOS folder is not enough.
If that doesn't work than one of the programs used to run AOS is corrupt.

Thanks for the tips, but I'm not using any mods, and this is a fresh install. From the way things look, this may in fact just be a nasty bug that was overlooked. I wonder why it's happening...

Yeah, it seems to happen at complete random. Sometimes it'll crash as soon as the map loads, other times you'll be able to play for a while before it crashes. I've been trying to figure out what's been triggering it, but so far I have no clues.

Edit: It doesn't seem to happen when I'm on my own lan server, so I'm assuming that the issue lies somewhere in the multi-player code? I haven't tried this yet, but next time I join a server I'm going to track the number of times a new player connects. Maybe that has something to do with the crashing? Keep in mind that I have no clue how the engine is coded ( although I do have some programming experience ), so I'm just taking somewhat educated guesses here.

I suspect this might have to do with servers running an old version of pyspades. Sadly, if you type "/version" on a pyspades server it gives you the ambiguous reply of "win32 build" so there's no way of knowing if they got the most up-to-date 0.75 vcompatible version of pyspades. There were like 5 updates to it in a 24 hour period. As of writing this, this would be the most up-to-date version.
