Nickname origin

Postby kmaj » Mon Mar 12, 2012 10:16 pm

How did you choose the name you use in the forums?
Post it here if you want.
As for me, one day I was texting with my phone and I pressed some random buttons. The result was kmaj.

USAB-United States Airborne (This is my clan)
x-This is a divider between USAB and my name.
BOOYO- This is a word I made up back in the 8th grade that was used to annoy people.

USABxBOOYO is my gamertag on Xbox Live, which is why I used it for these forums.

Character from Starcraft 1, I liked it cos it has a hick/hill-billy feel to it without the stereotype of Bubba or Billy bob, kinda stuck ever since.

I was a Deuce for a while. I was working on a project at the time (can't remember what it was) and got a stack overflow exception. I decided to use that as my name with no intentions on keeping it. Eventually I started making friends in game and it kind of stuck.

tl;dr a stack overflow is a programming error, my name has no relationship with the site.

Chaos is the First-Born God in Greek Mithology, and is also the God of (this is a shocker): Chaos.

TLW is from "T.he L.one W.anderer",the nickname your character gets in Fallout 3,and boy, that was one of my favorite games evah :3

EDIT: @Priok I always thought your name came from "Prick" lol

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

Well I like Tigers, and I was looking around my game collection and found a old game ''Tom Clany's Ravenshield. So I combined those two words. That was like 5 years ago tho. The name kinda mirros my playstyle.I'm more of a defensive/support player.

All battlefield games I always play medic/support.Just like in the days that I played WOW.I was priest/paladin ect.Right now I build defenses in AOS.

But I have one other nickname, and that one is sacred.(Something that I take whit me to my grave loL)

But I might change it in the future. For my sacred Nick.
