Who whacks things with a shovel? You dig with a shovel, you don't whack things with it. With a pickaxe, you whack things.

I vote no, there is already the other dig on the spade, you can just reskin it to a pickaxe. the developer should focus more on new content than deciding whether or not to re-add something pretty useless

Yeah Priok, I know there is already the other dig on the spade, but the pickaxe was awesome.

Soldier from TF2 does.
Also, the pickaxe was for digging originally, not whacking. The shovel was always the whacking weapon.

I wish it could be an option, although I know that isn't possible. I do think that if we re-added the pick, the weapon numbers would be all weird again and I know nobody wants that.
