Some time ago, Ace of Spades was limited only to Windows Users*... But now it's on Mac, too.

Q & A :

Q: How do I change the config file, and what does it do?
A: Right click on Ace of Spades and press Show Package Components, then go to drive_c and Ace of Spades folder. There will be the "config" file. Open it with TextEdit (or whatever text editing program you use) and change the resolution, name, windowed/fullscreen mode, show news thingy, BUT DO NOT EDIT THE MOUSE SENSITIVITY.

Q: How do I join a server?
A: Right click on Ace of Spades and press Show Package Components and launch Wineskin. In Wineskin press Advanced, and in EXE Flags you will see "-aos://". After the "-aos://" place the server numbers or replace the "aos://" with yours but do not remove the "-".

Q: When I am in full-screen, my mouse is well... CRAZY. (USE ONLY FOR FULL-SCREEN!!!)
A: There is a solution for that, but when you enable it in Windowed mode there is a chance for this to happen and mouse lag dramatically increases. But if you want to play in Full-Screen, after all, then right-click Ace of Spades, press Show Package Components and open Wineskin. Go to advanced, Options, and enable "Focus Follows Mouse". Then, go to Tools and Winetricks. In the search type grabfullscreen and you should find this. Choose grabfullscreen=y and press run. You're ready to play the game.

* - Windows Users or Boot Camp/Parallels/VirtualBOX and so on.
** - The Custom Icon is the Ace of Spades logo "splash"
*** - The second release of 0.75, which fixed a few annoying bugs.

Lol, almost a month has passed and 0.75 still hasn't been released.

Nice port though, anything to make the game more accessible to people so that they can expand the player base is always good. Is the game compatible with Linux? If it isn't, perhaps making it so would also help it grow. A free game being available on a free OS might be a good idea.

The game port is for OS X and I am not quite sure if I can port games from a mac to a linux. Does anyone know how can I do it?

@Grizon Well... I did fix it but now the mouse is laggy and when I use the spade mouse gets crazy. I contacted the wineskin developer and sent him a link to the "broken mouse" version of AoS (the one I "fixed"). I am still waiting for an answer. I'm still looking into it though.

@gamax32 Isn't the mat^2's client OS X native? But anyway, it sure will.
