Well lately I see a stunning rise of Swastika symbols in AOS. I self don't mind such pixel-art. I dont see any offense in it. But other players might find it offensive.

The Swastika symbol, has an bad reputation because of the deuce's ideologie. But infact the symbol is an ancient sign. used in ancient religions ect. The sybol can be found everywhere. For example,the romans used the Swastika for decoration ect.

Allot of games use the Swastika. For example : Medal of Honor.Company of heroes, Call of duty,Killzone 1/2/3 ect.

When people play games like that, They dont mind those symbols, They do it for the game itself. But when you create a Swastika in AOS you either get a shitload of feedback on it from other players, Most dont mind it. But there are exeptions that go apeshit.

I mean even the Green VS blue debate around AOS has that feel to it. ( dont mind that,its pure entertainment. and I support entertainment.

When people make emblems like that in AOS,I kinda find it amusing. The reason why I find it amusing is, It gives some roleplay to AOS. Because the game doesn't really have a theme ( I know ww1/2/vietnam). But you can''t feel the theme.

So my idea is : We need a background story why Greens and blues are fighting each other. We can have faction story's about the Greens and Blues.Who there leaders are,there strong and weakpoints.Let your imaginations flow.

Another idea i have : Why dont we post our own symbols, and decide what sybol belongs to what team(green,blue) so start making your emblem(pixel-art) and post it on the forums ,this thread. Maby Green,and blue might have there own symbol in forums and ingame. in the future. I already have one, I only need to know how to upload.


For Example ( I take Killzone for reference)

Blue = ISA
Greens = Hellghast

Err, buddhist one is horizontally flipped, though it wasn't originally but then the German facists (I can't say deuce?) stole it. Also swastikas are banned in Germany unless you're showing it for a historical purpose, and we don't want anyone getting in trouble here, do we?

You're thinking of the sauwastika. And no one will get arrested in Germany for looking at a swastika.

You gotta get over it, especially if you play a lot of online video games. People will always use or make then. There are lots of symbols the represented parties, groups and tribes that also committed war crimes and genocides but they dont make those. It's because no one makes a deal out of it. When you see one you just gotta say.....nothing.

Nice propaganda there, trying to get everyone to believe that blue started the conflict and oppressed the greens. Why would blues even want to oppress the greens? Theres nothing to oppress in greenland, and thats why they started this war. They want the prosperity and freedom that the blues enjoy, and they'll do anything to obtain it.
