Retiring.

SPQR is an up-and coming clan compromised in mid-2012. We hold onto several key values such as kindness, respect and maturity, where being skilled at Ace of Spades is secondary to this. We're quite competitive and have a strong emphasis on clan matches. The most important attribute of our clan is that we play for fun and enjoy ourselves, and if you sign up, we hope you enjoy yourself too.

That's the thing, Savert is very mature, it is the onlookers who are often not. I think my efforts would be better spent making the clan better anyway, I am sorry if I have come off angry this afternoon :>

I know what you mean.
High ranking SPQR member gets killed = 'z0mg lolol ur ment 2 b pr0 haha u so shiit'
I suggest we work out private aliases in the Senatus section to prevent this.

I don't think it's the fact that I'm in SPQR, I had similar issues when I was a Komrade, rather than that I guess I'm "well-known". That leaderboard shit certainly hasn't helped.

I don't recall myself ever doing the "OMG I KILLED U ITS A MIRACLE> GAWD RELLY EGZISTSSSS!!!@!$(!@U$)%" thing.

Did I?

Also, I'd be careful, if you use an alias. I can tell your play style, sort of, and if I can, others might. And if they learn you're using aliases, there will be no peace, for you or anyone with a similar style to yours. I've used aliases before, and shit has always gone down.

Also, I think its a pretty good decision. The weight of expectation can be heavy, often too heavy for our shoulders to handle. And it can piss you off when people question it when you, for once, aren't at your best.

Lol. This is more dramatical than expected, relax. I am just not enjoying the game and it's community anymore, save for you guys and my friends in LDR and RoT.

Thanks man. Good luck with the problem. I've faced the weight of expectation, but never in a game, never having been really good enough to warrant attention, so I guess I can only barely relate.

You should have just been like me and stopped playing without announcing it.

Perhaps, but I'd rather direct those who are wondering why they haven't seen me around to a place with an explanation, and this thread also helped me vent my buttfrustration. :D

I know that feeling Kodiak.

But after all, I just don't care. After all, I am playing for fun and I am sure that you played for fun too.

The only reason I still play ingame is to test modifications. :S

Look what we are doing here and now, there is no need to take this away to the Senetus thread. Kodi has a problem that is a fair one and we are solving it that is that :) and Kodi i hope you don't feel this way for "to" long because SPQR is not the same with you just on the forums :(
