On this thread, introduce yourself, tell us where you're from, how old you are, what your interests are, there is no restrictions and nothing is mandatory, say only what you're comfortable with :)
This helps us get to know each other, and who knows, maybe you'll find something to bond over and make great friends in this clan as I have :)

I guess I'll start.

My name is William, I currently reside in Adelaide, South Australia, though I was born in the city of Melbourne, which I love.
I'm fifteen years old and am currently completing 10th grade in highschool.
I'm currently in a long-standing relationship, and I'd be lying if I said she wasn't the best thing that's happened to me.
I have played Ace of Spades since Beta .58 came out, which was, iirc, early to mid August, 2011. In this time I've made several friends and learnt so, so much, not only pertaining to the game, but to improving myself. I must say the past few weeks I've been involved with SPQR have been some of the best days so far :)

At school I (generally) excel, but there are several subjects I don't enjoy and I am therefore prone to not putting the effort in in those subjects. Those subjects are usually math-based and math related, eg. chemistry, physics, geometry, etc. However, I love ICT.

What I really enjoy is English and social studies, and psychology is something I'm very interested in. I am usually top of my class in these areas, if I try hard enough. (I often don't :D)

Later in life it is my most fervent wish to explore the world around me, for I can already tell it's a wonderous place, despite the shit hands life often deals. I would one day like to live in either the United States or Europe, the former being preferable to the latter.
When I finish school I'll probably go to University, careers I aspire to and have seriously considered are international journalism, teaching, historian and psychologist.

My music taste is mostly varied, and you /probably/ won't like it. I try to appreciate all genres, but my most revered kinds of music are rock, alt. rock. indie, piano rock, etc. My favourite band is Go Radio.

Games are big thing for me as I'm a lazy shithead and do nothing with my spare time. Betheseda/Obsidian are my favourite developers (sorry ben you suck :D) and I love both the TES and Fallout series.

Relevant to this community, I've been involved with several clans, both large and small. The first clan I joined was called [MI], where I jumped on a gen server and was asked to join. Nothing really eventuated from that first meeting. After this, I began lurking the Komrade thread on the old forum, and decided to apply. This was the era that most of the older guys got to know me, where I joined RoT and had a semi-infamous reputation. In recent days, I have tried to remove these negative views, with reasonable success. I had lots of fun during this time, but was this was often at the expense of others, which I have now come to regret.
I went on a short hiatus from the Komrades, joined USAB for a week or two (I was the first, second or third member, I forgot) and then left as it didn't feel quite right. If I remember correctly, before re joining the Komrades MKU, Coma and I attempted to start a clan under [UN], which failed absolutely miserably. It was from this, and my later time in Enclave, that I learned effective clan management and what not to do. We'll discuss that in a moment.
I re applied to the Komrades and was forgivingly welcomed with open arms. For some reason, KomradeEnclave, or Eden, decided to leave and create a Fallout themed clan. Being a die-hard Falloutophile, I left and joined too, as did Coma. Coma and I were quickly promoted to semi-leadership positions, similar to the Legatus rank we have here.

The Enclave days were awesome. Our server was consistently at the top of the play page, and therefore we recruited many members, maxing out at around 60. It was here that I met the lovely Conduit.
After a month or two, Eden decided he could no longer take the pressure of running such a large clan, and dumped 50+ members on Coma and I's shoulders while he kicked back with RoT. Coma and I tried, but were too inexperienced to handle such a large operation by ourselves. I gave pseudo leadership to Coma and Conduit while I entirely lead, then I could not take spending my entire afternoons on clan management, and left. Coma shortly followed suit. Leaving members Conduit and Wewt in power, Enclave began a slow descent to inactivity and finally, death. R.I.P EnclaveKodiak.

Shortly after this, I was once again openly welcomed back into the Komrades, and this was my longest stint, which was from around March to the end of August. Here I integrated myself further with the community, and started using the leaderboard. There is too much to say about goings on during this period so I think I'll leave it for now, but this was a "Golden Era" in Komrade history.

..And here we are. I decided the Komrades were no longer for me and joined SPQR, assuming a wonderful position where I can help out as much as I feel I can, and still enjoy myself while doing so. I absolutely love this clan.

My names Santiago(I know its a weird name you dont need to tell me :D)and i live in Bavaria,Germany.
Most of the time I fail at school (so I'd had to do 8th grade twice)but I managed to reach class 10 in the highest form of school aviallable in Germany.Im 16 years old and spend my time mainly hanging out with friends or infront of my computer.
I dont take part in any sportclubs cause they want to steal my precious sleep at the weekends.

I play AoS roughly since 9 months,from which i spent 4 months in the Brotherhoodclan(Which had a slow death).
I also was part of the Enclave but left in its downfall cause Metal asked my to join his Ghostwolfs and Carnages new clan(Brotherhood).After the death of the Brotherhood i stayed clanless for a time,but then I wanted to join some clan again.
It took me some time to figure out what clan I'd like to join but I decised to join SPQR.The reasons for this were that I wanted to join a "small clan" and the Thread of SPQR looked very nicely made.So eventually i applied and was accepted one day later.

I maybe could tell some other stuff about me but that should be enough :D

Well hey SPQR. My IGN is saxbassman, which is a long story I will get to, but my real name is Tim (conspiracy! Tim and Tin :O).
I started playing AoS in 0.75 after ethoslab posted a video of it. I was all, hey, this looks fun.. and got hooked. I am currently in year 10 at school.

I was trollin' (as in browsing) the forums when I saw this little clan called SPQR pop up. The thread had like 12 views and had been posted all of 10 minutes previously. I thought, well, it looks cool, let's see how it turns out.
And so, I watched. I nearly joined several times, but didn't because of some nubs named f1avour and Links. However, on July 28, I applied. And here I am.

I am 16 and have an ungodly fasciation with gaming and NERF guns. Don't ask :P

At school, I do well, topping several classes and performing consistently well in others. I hate maths, but oh well ^^
Music is my best subject. I have been playing alto saxophone for 8 years, and have since learnt tenor sax, soprano sax, bari sax, bass clarinet, clarinet, drums, a bit of piano and bass guitar.

Right. Onto my IGN. I invented 'saxbassman' in year 7 very maturely, as you do. I made it into my MC unpaid account name (I've been playing since indev) as kinda a joke, thinking 'PFFT, I'll change it when I buy it.' Then my best mate gifted me MC. The website was all, 'Log in to activate your gift code!' So I did, and, with a staggering display of my mental faculties, premiumed the wrong account, saxbassman. From there, it kinda stuck, and became my account for literally everything ^^

I was also accepted into LDR recently along with Kodiak I have just noticed how many things I have in common with that child :D and, well, all I can say is, being a member of LDR is worth it just for #LDR, Kodi will agree :P

I have been honored to be promoted to Legatus in this clan, along with the deeelicious Kodiak. Tin, Scipion, Kodiak and I have basically become a small family - we bicker, and faff about, but we get the job done! <3
Seriously, the last two months have been the best times of my life, thank you all :)

Introduction thread :o.

My name is Ethan, I'm 11 and currently in Grade 6 in Middle School. First year of Middle ftw! I live in the state of Pennsylvania, United States of America. I found this game after being recommended by a guy at the Trackmill.com forums in July [Scipion, Kody, and Tin will know what I'm talking about :P]. My first match was miserable, 2 kills and 36 deaths. Mostly because I forgot the ironsights on my rifle XD. Next day, I remembered the ironsights and owned. Since I am used to forum communities, I joined the forums a few days after I started. After seeing clan members on the game, I figured it would be cool to join one. I ended up joining SPQR on July 27th because my Trackmill friend Scipion was co-leader. Since then, I've been an AOS pro, and my best round coming at just last night. I hope to move up the ranks in SPQR and participate in a match soon.
