This was difficult question, since i'm not afraid of being paralyzed, being killed etc. Spiders startle me, but only briefly so i'm not really afraid of them THAT much. I'm not afraid of dying - Whatever comes after can't be worse than what this shit life is. Dying painfully would be unpleasant, but it'd be over sooner or later. What i fear most, is darkness.
Every time i am in the dark, i feel like someone - Or something - is watching me. Sometimes i catch a glimpse of something moving in a dark room. I'm haunted by this same fucking nightmare: The darkness tries to take away my blanket. It might sound funny, but i quarantee you, it's not to me. It's fucking terrifying. Ever since i was a kid, i've thought of the blanket being a shield - As long as i'm under it, the darkness can't take or hurt me. The dream always starts the same; The darkness grabs hold of my blanket and lifts me into the air, as i desperately try to hold onto the only thing that shields me from it. The darkness laughs at me, and taunts me. It's freezing in the dream. As i desperately try to hold onto the blanket, i hear screams under me. I never look down. I know what's there, and i have no intention of giving it the pleasure of scaring me any more than it has to. I feel the thing's ice cold and slimy hand touch my feet, and try to kick it away. It plays with me, moves it's icy, dead hands all over my body. It wraps it's hands and legs around my body and whispers into my ear "Hold on tighter.. Come on you can do it.. The light's right over there.." The thing's voice is pleasant, and gentle, but strangely cold. Just as i'm about to reach the light it starts to scream, and rips me off into the darkness, where it rips off my eyes, sinks it's teeth into my neck and feastes with my body.
But as much as i fear darkness, it also enpowers me. I am faster, stronger, smarter, and my senses are sharper. I never look at mirrors while i'm in the dark. Mirrors are where it shows itself to me.
