Platoon Integration Plan - P.I.P
Purpose:
Increase organization within the clan
Benefits:
Duties are spread out; Easier to keep tabs on members
Drawbacks:
May cause confusion.

Summary: What problems do we currently have? The one this proposal targets is this: it takes a while to contact members to see if they are active or not, and they might block a spot that could be filled with a new and ambitious recruit.
So, I have designed a system that will enable clan leaders to easily keep track of member's activeness and respond to pleas for tryouts and applications. This will consist of 3 new ideas.

1) Platoons - Each leader/co-leader will be assigned their own platoon, and they will be responsible for responding to their platoon's questions, demands, and needs. They will be the Platoon Leader for their platoon. Other responsibilities include: contacting and kicking inactive members within their platoon, taking care of platoon members, and promote friendly relationships between platoon members. Finally, they will be in charge of training members and trying out new applicants.
For example, Linstar will be Platoon Leader for Alpha Platoon. LiamHart will be in charge of Bravo Platoon. Also, Imm0rtal and Ace will be in charge of Charlie Platoon and Delta Platoon respectively.

2) Captains - Since each leader/co-leader have their own platoon, there will be one officer assigned to each platoon. The officers will be Platoon Captains, and their responsibilities include: Contacting platoon members on a weekly basis- making sure they are active, and reporting to their platoon leaders in the case of an inactive member. Finally, the platoon capt. will participate in training members.
For example, Salde will be platoon captain for Alpha Platoon, TrollFace to Bravo, CaKeSsNiPeR to Charlie, and ShinHae to Delta.

3) Distribution - Each platoon will consist of 1 Platoon Leader, 1-2 Platoon Captains, and 1-10 Members. Upon recruitment, LinStar will be in charge of assigning the new recruit to a platoon. She will assign the recruit according to these factors:
1- amount of persons within platoon. Linstar will assign recruits to platoons in an effort to keep numbers balanced, so as not to overtax any officers or co-leaders.
2- skills. Linstar will not make a platoon full of riflemen, nor a platoon full of squad automatics. This way, each platoon will be close to balanced, and can easily be called on for clan battles, or platoon vs platoon training.

C L A R I F I C A T I O N

A platoon is not an army nor an in-game team, but it is a way to group people into manageable chunks so leaders can keep tabs on activity, increase communication between commissioned officers and the standard trooper. You can not create a new platoon nor neglect to be part of one. You are assigned into a platoon for the ease of communication, organization, and collaboration.

EACH LEADER/CO-LEADER own a platoon (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta). Each leader/co-leader have one subordinate; an officer aka platoon captain. Normal members will be assigned into platoons upon recruitment. Members will answer to Captains, and Captains will report to Leaders. Leaders will pass important clan messages to their officers, who in turn will relay the info to the members of their platoon.

I wanna make a Platoon,

I want me and Imm0rtal and Gravit3(iizJimmy) to be leader :)
Then!Anyone would come and join mah Platoon!

so in essence, you are not allowed to make a platoon because
a) we dont want to divide up the clan into mini sub-clans. we just want organization.
b) cake, you are an officer, right? officers are the second-in-commands within a platoon, under the leader.
c) members are assigned according to numbers to balance out the platoons. although im thinking about adding the ability to request to switch to another platoon

I'm just making a suggestion here, What if for each squad/platoon they had a special role? Like one would be Defence, one offence, and then one support? (just using those as examples)

That would be useful, yes. I haven't perfected this section for the idea, so i didnt include it. if you could add to your idea it would help :)

Now tell me, how do we sit it up? :)
