I have 2 cellphones, a Nokia C3 for texting and communicating, and a Galaxy Y for surfin the web, music, and gaming. Got both from hard work, and not begging for 1 :P

Is there any job a under 18 year old can do other than setting up a lemonade stand. Or, working their butt off all summer picking berries, To get like 15$?

That's 1 year equivalent of saving money, by buying less, eating less, etc.

A sacrifice, yeah. But I am happy :)

Here in my country, part-time jobs are popular with teens. Ranging from shop assistants, buy-sell, apprentice.

But as I have said, I got those 2 phones through saving allowance, birthday and christmas gifts, and selling old stuff. Hard, but Satisfying though. Especially when you get what you worked for :)

Also, getting in on the convo, my allowance is kind of messed. I get either $10 a week, or $20 a month. I don't really need much money, and since my lunch money is unrelated to my pocket money, I choose $20 a month. Since I get $10 every second week or so, I'm getting about $40 dollars a month. Thing is, I sometimes forget to collect, or my mum forgets to give it to me. So my wallet is ever dwindling. I don't buy stuff much, but my wallet is always getting smaller.....

Im betcha that I will stop getting money next year.The only reason my mum is giveing $5 every weeks is I save up the money so I can use it in future.Im only 12
