[Request] Stalingrad

Postby XFrostByteX » Wed Aug 29, 2012 3:58 am

I was working on a map called Stalingrad, but I came across a problem

Frost's cant map

So, who would like to take a crack at this...

The blues are basically the Russians, and are attacking from the beach into the war torn town (I mean war torn, fallen buildings, debris, the works.) held by the Germans. Green territory is more urban in nature, against the blue's to have a simple beachhead.

So, anyone care to try it out?

I don´t know how you got that idea... but Germans or RUssians + beach? :D Really?!

Okay in germany there is a beach (eas/north-sea) but this isn´t really what you imagine if you are saying "BEACH".

PS: Neat idea.

Really good idea, I like the sound of this map. I would love to help but I can't map either, but I would help with props for tanks and such. BTW Essig, I am pretty sure Stalingrad is in Russia.

Sorry to correct you again Essig, but in the video, the Russians advance from a river and up a beach. Although the accuracy of a game can be doubted, they generally get their facts right about something that big.

I'm gonna try and at least get the landscape done. Again, I can't map. But meh, let's see how it turns out.
