Windows 7 bugs and ways to avoid some until they are fixed

Okay so... these are the bugs that are common in windows 7 (aatleast I think they happen to me a lot) :

When I click the play Ace of Spades it goes to the page but says it can't load it ( this goes for google chrome , I don't know for mozilla or explorer) the error looks like this : Oops! Google Chrome has failed to establish a link to the page www.ace-spades.com , the first option is this : Access to copies of the cached pages www.ace-spades.com/play/ , click it and you will see all the servers from the last time you were on the page , and if some don't work they are obviously not there anymore , but you can still play.


And the other is when you go to a server it loads kinda faster then normal ( to me it's like this ). When the loading is finished it exits the game and sayas that client.exe has stoped working. I just went to the instaler and clicked repair. It worked .

Also when your game works the voxel editor and server.exe won't. But when the game is saying client.exe has stoped working the server.exe works and voxel editor is working ... I hope you fix 'em soon !

The problem with the forums isnt a windows bug, the site was being DDoS'd.

Actually, I think bcoolface said it had some firewall issues. Not 100% sure though.

That would be an issue with the server, not your computer.

You may have incorrectly modified a file or configuration.

The client, server, and Voxed are all different executables. They aren't associated with each other in the kind of way you're describing.

yep. it's happens to me several times. parts of the AoS website were down/inaccessible.
