I would not pay. the games good and i know by the time this game is 1.0 it will be better but to be fare i would rather Ben make money by adverts one the site/forum. what i would like to see is companies making there own maps for example. "pepsi max map" the map would just be a massive pepsi maps logo.

I wouldn't pay for it in it's current state. The game would need some kind of GUI (I know it's coming soon), plus mod support, gamemodes, server support (ie. running a server through the client with configurable options). I might buy it if all of these are included, and an AI would seal the deal.

And I doubt having to buy the game would stop hackers and the sorts. The only way to properly get rid of them is to create some sort of anti-cheat system, like Valve has.

By mod support I mean like the texture pack support for Minecraft. If you don't know, there should be a folder where you put all the different .kv6, .png and .wav files into seperate sub-folders. Then there should be a GUI which allows you to swap between different weapons before you enter a game.

THIS- is exactly what they mean when they say "lazy duck". It takes about 3 clicks to get to kv6, png or wav folders.

It's for convenience. I don't mind as I don't change them very often, but doing this would allow you to swap not just between custom textures, but also change back to the vanilla weapons and sounds with needing to re-install.

And when you use SIMOX's mods, there are several subfolders which contain extra attachments and what not. Not just 3 clicks when you use SIMOX's mods.

Just copy files from the installer if you want vanilla sounds/kv6/pics
