I don't agree with everything Tai says in his "War Academy", but it pretty much destroys all the other basic guides out there--it's stickied at the top of the forum if you care to read it.

If you want your guide to be noticed and appreciated, I would suggest taking the time to forumulate and describe (with pics) innovative tactics--techniques that are not obvious to most players in-game. An example of these tactics would be "wall-popping" (credit: tank), "straining" (credit: Your Mom), and "grenade building" (not mine but I can't remember who came up with it).

Tai doesn't agree with Tai about most of the stuff in there anymore. Most of it's outdated and I probably won't ever update it. Never heard of straining or wall popping... Grenade building was a pretty God awful tactic as I remember, though in a certain context I can see it being used somewhat.

To OP; if you still don't know how to use the forums, it's probably not the best idea to make a guide. I played AoS for around 5 months before I even attempted my guide, and it took me around a week of writing to complete, plus another week of adding images and formatting. Basically, if you're going to do it, do it right the first time.
