Is your browser open? Sometimes websites cause FPS to drop. Try closing your browser, and any other windows opened.

1) Dont use your browser to play on servers anymore.
2) Use Spadille: Download here
3) Play windowed mode with a resolution of 800x600. Paste this in your config file and edit it to your liking:

[client]
name = Deuce
xres = 800
yres = 600
vol = 10
inverty = 0
windowed = 1
language = 0
mouse_sensitivity = 5.000000
show_news = 0

I will try using Spadille and for the resolution - 800x600 was by default for me and i even use lower than that...

You really should be able to play with that, I don't see why it's laggy. Maybe you should wait for the OGL client.

It might, try playing without Skype. How much free RAM do you have when playing? How much of your CPU is being used up while playing?

I got 13-17 FPS without firefox and skype when i play on windowed and on 800x600... CPU usage - 600%, Memory - 860 MB
WTF?! On League of Legends i got 30-60 FPS and it's fine, but on Ace of Spades i just can't play with 13-17 FPS (20 fps max now (happens rare) )

i looked up the Lenovo IdeaPad G575GC, seems to be a laptop, and it's fairly new...
I'm guessing you're running Win 7. try disabling Aero (windows) it might improve performance.
if ATI has a graphics control panel, make sure client.exe (ace of spades) is listed as 3D application- some graphics cards, like mine, thinks ace of spades is a 2D app, such as MS Word, and won't use 100% power.
