Everyone should Auth themselves on QuakeNet and have it officially posted on the forums.
I'll have to make a thread about it or something...

While in IRC you can do a "whois" check.

/whois <name>

And a bunch of information will pop up about them, including their account name. I'll have our IRC bot, Q, make you have automatic "Voice" (it's a little + sign next to your name), if you auth yourself on QuakeNet, everytime you login to the channel.

To auth yourself type this in while you're on any Quakenet channel:

First! Change your nick to what you want your account name to be by doing this command:

/nick <new nickname>

Example: /nick StealthIsAFaggot
* Kibblez is now StealthIsAFaggot


Next, type this:
/msg q hello <email> <email>

example:
/msg q hello [email protected] [email protected]

Check your emails, you'll get a password. You then must login like this:

/auth StealthIsAFaggot <password they gave you>

And finally, change your password with this command:

/msg q newpass <oldpass> <newpass> <newpass>

example:
/msg q newpass KibblezPass stealthisgay stealthisgay

(I changed my password from KibblezPass to stealthisgay).

I'll make it a little more organized later and throw it into a thread, but there ya go :P
