Why most servers are crap these days

I mean, I despise bridgewars, but there are a few bridge maps that are decent. I forget the name, but it has a red roof and greek style pillars -_-.

I don't think "crap" servers have anything to do with the maps they use. It has to do with how long they have the match's time set, how much staff they have on, and chances of getting a hacker.

Have games longer than 30 minutes, the map begins to become the moon.
Have low moderation, your chances of getting hackers are high.
Have a lot of hackers come into your server, you lose your playerbase.

I too hate hallway+bridges maps

i also missed servers with actual GOOD maps
because i see servers either full or totaly empty, ones that are not full or empty have maps that are flat land with 3 blocks
