No I couldn't. Once in IRC mat asked which would look better texture or pixels, most people said that pixels would look better. Then he said fine I'll make the smoke from pixels. And then I really liked that smoke effect. Maybe there were not enough of it but it certainly fitted the game.

So maybe change the bloody pixels into real like blood or grenade debris into something more realistic. That sure would look better don't you think? /sarcasm

Tbh, I'd rather have blocky smoke effects like in this photo:

STOP WORKING ON GRAPHICS. PEOPLE WHO NEED BETTER GRAPHICS ARE INEVITABLY WORTH SHIT-ALL IN GAME.

Seriously, have we forgot the lag? It seems we're going to be skipping right from the .7's to 1.0 just so Ben can pretend like he has a salable product by adding particle effects and more guns than are actually needed...

This game honestly drives me to drink.

Tai we understand your frustrations, you just need to relax and use some diplomacy.

As for lag. It will exist as long as we all have different internet speeds. If you want fair play based on skill. You will need to go back to 1997 when 56k was the fastest connection. And even then the server host had the best hops.

But I agree, attention should be on something other then stupidly easy graphics.

Show us the results of anti hack code.

Just me trying to steer >>>>> development to what I believe to be "the most important issue".

As for the Smoke, I will be cool with whatever you decide. I was there when space invaders hit the arcades. Pixelation does nothing for me.

I know none of you know me, I prefer it that way. (Lone Wolf forever) I have been here awhile. Just signed up because of the new launcher.
