Why do People hack and grief?

I don't know why people hack & grief in most servers. It's very anoying to people who wanna play a normal, none-hack match. I have some reasons below:

HACKS:
1. They want to kill more than others.
2. They think hacks are cool (maybe).
3. Being a boss of the server (like being immortal and invurnable, if no admin is here).
4. Want to be a pro (that's false).
5. For fun (wtf why?)
MY COMMENT: Hackers are obviously noobs, no skill, bad and being hated. I wish some program that disables hacks if activated. No good ^.

GRIEFERS:
1. Revenge.
2. Goin to another team and grief there to make his/her team win.
3. Angry/mad (TO GRIEFERS: U mad bro?).
4. Complaining to his/her building and is not a good idea (he/she want his/her building to be there).
5. (Same as number 5 on hacks)
MY COMMENT: Griefers are no fair, though they might be on the enemy's side, or just a hostile team mate. They should go to it's team and play normally, not griefing.

Hope you understand, they're just my opinions. post here for suggestions and comments about this thing. ^_^

I just hate it when one switches team and griefed his new team's structures.This usually happens when he is extremely pwned when being in his old team.Sucks.

1. hacking - They do it because it is easy to do. There are downloads and instructions available. There is no real punishment and it is easy to play through proxy.

The only solution must come from a developer on a regular and on going basis. Dropping it in the lap of the server operators seems cheap to me.

2. Griefing - I agree with your conclusions. Probably a misguided attempt to help there team. I think many are jealous that they don't have enough imagination or attention span to pull off a good build.

Nothing can be done really with griefers. Don't build useless houses/objects. Don't build higher then 1 block.

As been said already, some are just dicks. They are all over the internet. As far as that goes this is probably the most civil game forum I have seen. Most have more trolls then the games. This will probably change as more of the game community find there way in here.

I found out that when i see a griefer or hacker you just get everyone to hate on them or attempt to votekick the player
because all these people want is for them to be pissed of at them and saying rude msgs on chat doesn't make them leave so what you gotta do is piss them of by everyone getting revenge on them evenget there own team sometimes or getting them votekicked and after awhile they would leave for example
I saw this hacker using auto aim and i told a few guys to make a trap and get them to be hit first will i snipered him and killed him we did this about 5 times by tricking him and he got so pissed off that he left which he deserved for cheating

So teamwork is what gets rid of griefers and hacker!!

Anyway, yeah they do it to troll. However, they fail because it's obvious. The best trolls (like me) can troll you and you will not even know you got trolled until later. Go watch MinnesotaBurns on Youtube, he is probably the best troll on Youtube. Stuff like finding an enemy sniper and trapping him in blocks, going on a spade rage, blocking the way onto the tower in Babel, that sort of stuff.

Seriously, I would not mind being kickvoted for "aimbotting" if I was playing well, it's sorta a complement. Most votes don't go through anyway. I however hate being kicked for "grif" or "hax" because it is probably some guy who I killed once and he got mad.

It's like people can't even spell "hack" and "grief" properly. +10 to the OP for spelling it correctly, if he spells it correctly in-game he is definitely in the %5 of ingame players who can actually spell.

knowing somene that is a hacker (no names), i can say that most of them do it just because they feel like being a dick. Not because they suck, though it is possible. Other wise they would probably develop hacks to act like someone who is really good, not a robot.
