This is what I did and it works for me: Play really fast twitch shooters like Counter-Strike: Source or Quake Live. I would suggest Quake Live over CS:S, mostly because it's free and browser-based. And it's so fast and requires so much precision that after you play a while playing Ace of Spades will seem slow and easy.
As for Ace of Spades itself, the best weapon is the rifle. You won't need to use any weapon other than that. You also need to learn how to jump-crouch (for jumping over two-block high obstacles), quick scoping, aiming for the head (headshots are super easy in this game) and not stopping. Seriously, most people I kill are people who decided to stop for a second. Once you learn those basics, you can start learning when to use the spade (never pull it out unless you enter an enemy bunker), how to build proper cover and other things.
Before long, you'll be feeling like a Delta-Force, deniable-ops commando, sneaking through the outskirts of the maps, sniping enemies oblivious to your position, watching people ragequit ... and also getting called a hacker! XD Just reply to those losers with the same phrase on my signature. XD
Good luck! ;-)
EDIT: Also, you can also, if it's your thing, join a clan. Then you can play against clan members and get killed many times without worrying about being insulted.
