Ace of Spades Beta 0.75
-added click+drag building with right-click
That's pretty casual

-spectate on death
Spectate? As in spectate your friend, or floating around map?

-weapons now do different block damage
Nice. So shotty now better on destroying building & smg doesn't

-spade is stronger against blocks (2 hits)
GRIEF. GRIEF EVERYWHERE

-minor shotgun/SMG improvements
Hopefully, shotgun nerferd

-added ejected bullet casings
-tweaked particle effects
-no more pixelation on turning or lookin up/down
Nice. Does it hit the performance?

-better connection error messages
-localization fixes (fixed translations and characters converted)
Cool

-less annoying respawn beeps
Yes. The beeping is actually pretty loud

-grab block color is now mappable (default key: e)
okay

-wave respawning every 30 seconds
Isn't that too long? BF only have 20s, top

-tighter server network loop
-killed heavyweight library dependencies
Any improvement on connection are great

I hope the shotguns shows the pumping and ejecting of spent shells. Having to judge when I can shoot again leads to frequent deaths. I also hope the particle effects are for explosions. Im still not sure how big the damage radius of grenades are. Im glad theyre finishing the polish instead of implementing new things.

I would like to see the bombs from the air raids actually being dropped by an aircraft though. That would complete the immersion and aesthetics for me

I just wonder if it's out yet because now i don't see much servers in the play section of this site.
Does that mean that servers that have being updated will be gone for the ones with 0.70

Spectating on death will definitely make a more of a 'Run and Gun' atmosphere, to be honest, seeing as positions are given away, thus you can't just expect to sit and camp for 10 minutes, which has advantages, but also disadvantages.

The shotgun rate of fire needs to definitely be slowed down to be honest, as it doesn't need to reload until many bullets, and it can kill you easily if in close distance/mid.

Its already the slowest weapon in game, where the smg can fire like 6/7 more shots and the rifle can fire multiple times in the time it takes for the shotgun to fire a second time.

What....and thats kind of the point, being a close range weapon and all.

You turn the corner, some random guy shoots you on your torso with a shotgun, your dead.

Shotgun has no recoil, and too many bullets per clip.

Well, but shotgun is useless at long range, while rifle (and SMG kinda) are excellent.

And as a addicted shotgun user I'd say it's fine as it is now.
