I agree with the speed you suggest. Btw, where did 5 bullet magazine come from? I thought we all agreed on 8.

This would be balanced. If the magazine is 10, speed would be between 0.76 and 0.75. If magazine is 8 speed would be as in 0.75.

No, because accuracy has been put back to what it was - and that makes it more powerful.
I'd be interested to see in another release candidate: 6 ammo and a rate inbetween old and current.

Maybe and between speed? That would be fair.

Its pinpoint accurate again and only worse if it takes more than one shot or youre trying to take out a large group of other semis (or trying to kill a shotgun in shotgun territory). It was given a more defined role and now people are complaining because they no longer have 10 rapid fire one shot kills to lean on.
But don't worry, shotgun now has a bigger and wider range so you'll never miss.
Shotgun is useless past a certain point, whats your point?
And oh yeah, you can keep smg spamming because we've even throwed in some more bullets for your beloved smg.
Even using it correctly it was running out of ammo far too quickly. Even then spraying will net you less kills than carefully aiming a semi.
If you think this game takes any skill now, you're wrong.
*points to new semi*
Lets invite the whole CoD community as this game now doesn't even require brain.
"I dont agree with this, time to bring CoD into the thread"

RIP Ace of Spades. All I can hope for now is a 0.70/0.75 server.
Then host one. I dont know why anyone would even want a .75 or .7 server though, especially after complaining about .75 for the past 4 months or whatever.

I liked being good with semi. I liked being able to show what I know. But these new updates, they just feel restricting.
Well thats what happens when you give a more defined role rather than its old "Ill bring this into every fight because itll still rape anything no matter what" mentality it had before..

I just feel like they keep decreasing differences between beginner and pro players.
The semi was given a higher skill ceiling if anything.

they were not fine as they were. Shotguns could snipe, rifles were the undisputed king (which isnt good mind you), and smg was...Smg. (Cant really recall .7 smg at all). You dont settle on shitty weapon balence just because it was the least shitty.

I know its stupid to say all this with as little testing on .76 as I have(Inb4youneverusediteventhoughIhave), but jesus. Remove a crutch and people complain at how the "high skill weapon" was nerfed..

bingo! each shot is more important now, so be more careful and make sure you hit your target. missing could be the difference between life and death.

if there's still a balance issue maybe the focus should be on the smg and/or shotty. perhaps they have too much accuracy and/or do too much damage at range.

I still didn't understood how exactly does the damage drop-off works. Like, where does it starts? What is the minimum damage now?How much damage each weapon has at set distances?

Rifle has gone a bit too far with slowing down, since you're a complete lemming if not at fog range. It needs some speeding up to make it feel more natural.

This game is becoming like Call of duty, and that means stupid. Rifle should have 8 bullets and speed between .76 and .75

If anything, this gun is going away from Call of Duty. Maybe more towards Battlefield, with the damage drop-off.

IMO, 5 bullets are enough, but having 1 or 2 extra bullets would be nice.

Id like to know this aswell, those ".910something" damage loss, how is that calculated? clearly we dont have percentages of a hp. does it just round up and take a point away?

is that because the smg and/or shotty can kill you too easily at range? if so, then why not slightly nerf the range power of those weapons rather than slightly beef up the rifle?

Explain again, why do we really need 8 kills without having to reload with the rifle?

After playing more, I feel the rifle is fine. No changes, maybe one extra bullet to make it 6, but still, 5 is ok.

The SMG needs more recoil. That would nerf it at fog range and mid range, but not nerf it at all at close range.

Shotty is PERFECT.
