Many hours put into Colin McRae Rally or Tomb Raider. Some more obscure ones are some Net Yaroze games on demos from PS1 magazines. Such as Adventure Game (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlr4djH_LFw&feature=related) which is basically an RPG game which makes the mickey out of the whole RPG genre.

EDIT: That 2097 song is good, but this is better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUUiK2InLEc in my opinion :D
