Official 0.70 Discussion Thread

New thing we're starting (thanks to Monsteri for the idea).
Instead of creating numerous new 0.70 topics, just post in this one. Others shall be closed and/or deleted.

Changelog:
Ace of Spades Beta 0.70 Changes:
-spade melee!
-headshots indicated
-shotgun tracers and tweaks
-translations for German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian
-removed enemy locations from map
-bullet tracers shown on map
-new HUD icons
-Serverlist now reports country
-better netcode for position/orientation updates
-more reload bug fixes
-better Territorial Control spawn logic
-client-side analytics implemented

We shall do this for future releases also.

yay, my wish is computer with 512 MB, 4 GB RAM and not, NOT notebook/notepad/netbook etc
and I wish new Ace of Spades, btw! I wanna play it with my friends, ofc =D

Nice, but it was easier to have a pickax and a spade, I always forget that the spade does shovel-like digging when you right click. :P The rest is awesome! :) Keep up the good work.

Here is a couple of things Ace of Spades is missing:

1. Crafting
2. Pigs
3. The Nether
4. Minecarts
5. Enderdragon

Oh yes, and how could I forget?

7. Killstreaks
8. Motion Sensors
9. Attachments
10. Classes

This would make the game so much more original and enjoyable. plz add nao pl0x

I hope Ben could focus to the server code next, we need a lot better overall playability anyway, don't we?

The only major update I want anymore is the third selection screen:
1st screen: Team selection (Green, Blue)
2nd screen: Weapon selection (Semi, SMG, Shotgun)
3rd screen: Equipment selection (Grenades, Medkit, Extra Blocks)

Other than that it's great already. Just more balancing and tweaking, and that's it.

EDIT: Oh and yeah. Please, most of us just don't want that drag n' drop style of building. Even I don't seem to like it right now.
